Microcopy
Microcopy may be small, but it can have a big impact on how users interact with your brand.
I work to identify customer intent and, where possible, use the same vocabulary as users. This makes it clear what outcome their interactions with digital elements will have.
User testing and analytics helps to ensure microcopy is clear and that users can complete their tasks without friction.

Accessibility
Accessible copy works for everyone. Content that's written in plain English, structured well, and is easy to understand helps users to complete their tasks – while also being easier for search engines and AI bots to crawl.
I work closely with the UX and user testing team, as well as using accessibility checker tools, to ensure standards are being met.
I've worked on several projects to improve the accessibility of specific content to meet regulatory requirements and improve outcomes for users with specific needs.

Information architecture
Well-structured content removes friction, making it easier for customers to complete their tasks. It also supports SEO and GEO, making it easier for new customers to find you.
I've worked on small site maps for university departments and small businesses, as well as knowledge library taxonomies, and large-scale information architectures for full-site transformations.
On page structure is as important as overall site structure. Content hierarchy, headings, and sentence structure all contribute to the readability of content – both for users and machines. Content modelling can support governance and reusability of content, as well as streamlining production processes.
